Black Stars midfielder joins New York City FC

Ebenezer Ofori has completed his move to the Major Soccer League (MLS).

Ghana midfielder Ebenezer Ofori has joined New York City FC on a one-year loan from Bundesliga side Stuttgart.

He has joined the team for pre-season ahead of the upcoming Major Soccer League (MLS) in his quest to get much playing time.

Ofori has been struggling to rediscover the form that made him a midfield enforcer during the team’s campaign to regain promotion back to the German topflight league, hence relegating him to the bench of Stuttgart.

Ebenezer Ofori wants to enjoy regular football in order to keep his place in the Black Stars team.

The former Swedish topflight league player of the year has added up to the number of Black Stars playing in the in the Major Soccer League (MLS)- Jonathan Mensah, Harrison Afful, David Accam, etc
